Venue and travel advice

The conference, accommodation and repasts all will be host at Grand Hotel San Michele - Cetraro (Italy). 

It is a nice hotel on the Tyrrhenian coast of Calabria.

The following are special prices, for full board per day, reserved to the participants of the conference "Arithmetic Theta series and p-adic modular forms":

Single room (per night)                                  126.00 euro

Double room (for two people, per night)        220.00 euro

Residence 3/5 beds (per person, per night)      85.00 euro

How to reach Grand Hotel San Michele

The nearest airport is Lamezia Terme (1 hour and 30 min far from the conference venue by car), where mainly national flights land.

Alternatively:

You can fly to Roma or Napoli, both international airports, and take a fast train to Paola, the nearest train station served by high speed service. It is 30 min far from the conference venue by car. If informed in time, the hotel will send a car to pick you up at Paola station. 

If you land in Roma Fiumicino airport, take the train "Leonardo Express" to Roma Termini train station (30 min journey, departure every 15 min). There you will find trains to Paola. The fastest take 3 h and 20 min with no changes and departures on Sundays at 16:35, 17:53, 18:20. Besides that there are other solutions (4h+ journeys). If you land in Napoli airport, take the bus "Alibus" to Napoli Centrale train station (15 min journey, departure every 15-20 min depending on the time slot). There you will find trains to Paola. Shuttle service to the Hotel: 

A shuttle service to pick you up at the airport or the train station shall be organized. Three weeks before the event, the organizers will contact you to inquire your precise time of arrival as well at its venue: Paola train Station (fast train service), Cetraro Station (slow train service) or the distance Lamezia Airport. If you provide us with such informations in a timely fashion, the organizers shall gladly book the shuttle service for you.

If you chose to land in Lamezia, plan not to arrive late in the evening because in case of flight delay the shuttle service is unavailable late in the night.

The shuttle service has the following cost:

From/to Paola train Station:

Up to 3 passengers               50.00 euro per route

Up to 8 passengers               72.00 euro per route

From/to Lamezia Airport:

Up to 3 passengers               90.00 euro per route

Up to 8 passengers               120.00 euro per route

Note that the costs are given per route, so in case of sharing each passenger pays for one share.
